Dr. Haywood Robinson
Welcome to Brazos Medical Associates! My name is Haywood J. Robinson, and I came to this comumnity with my wife in 1981 when we started this practice. I graduated from the California Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree and received my Medical Degree from the University of California, Irvine. I am Board Certified by the American Board of Family Physicians and serve as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family and Community Medicine at Texas A&M University Health Science Center. I currently serve as Chief of Staff of the College Station Medical Center and have been a long-time member of the nation-wide Triad Hospital Physicians Leadership Group. My passion has been to participate in a medical ministry caring for the body, soul, and spirit of my patients, I am an avid runner and have run several marathons, most recently the Houston Marathon in January 2005, and have also competed on an international level as a master sprinter. My athletic activities have been incorporated into my practice as an interest in Sports Medicine. I live in College Station with my wife of 31 years, Noreen Johnson, and have three wonderful daughters.
Dr. Noreen Johnson
I am Noreen Z. Johnson, and I was born in Trinidad, West Indies. I came to the United States to pursue my education and recieved both a Bachelor of Science and a Medical Degree from Howard University, Washington, D.C. I completed my residency training in California where I met my husband Haywood Robinson. My medical practice is now limited to Gynecology, but I have also delivered many babies in the Bryan/College Station area during my first 20 years in practice. I am a board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist, a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Texas A&M University Health Science Center. After being away from home for many years, I needed to give back to my birthplace in a way that is very special to me. I recently developed a successful Medical Mission called Touch Tobago; Tobago is the sister island to Trinidad and has much fewer amenities. Along with the Christian missionaries and medical personnel I brought advanced laparoscopic surgery to Tobago and provided health care outreach to the outlying areas. I currently live in College Station with my husband; my children Udelle and Riva Robinson are at Texas A&M University and Rice University respectively. I am also a da Vinci® Surgeon.
